The Music Therapy Association of British Columbia (MTABC) is a registered non-profit Society in British Columbia. Its mission is to promote excellence in music therapy practice, research, education and development and to further the awareness of music therapy in British Columbia and across Canada.

In April 2022, IBB and the MTABC began a collaboration, with IBB providing donated instruments to MTABC. IBB received a follow up note from MTABC:

“We have had music therapists apply for the instruments, most of them new graduates who are starting their practice and can really benefit from having more instruments. Many of them work with children, some in palliative care, with older adults in long-term care, and adults in mental health settings. People are so excited by your generous donations! It helps us so much to be able to offer music making opportunities and to feel your support in this way.”
